Limehouse Conservation Area is a hidden gem tucked along the Niagara Escarpment in Halton Hills, where forest trails, dramatic rock formations, and local history all come together in one adventurous outdoor experience.
It’s best known for its “Hole in the Wall”—a series of deep rock fissures you can climb through using ladders—alongside scenic sections of the Bruce Trail that wind past Black Creek, limestone kilns, and remnants of a 19th-century lime industry.
The entire space feels rugged and exploratory, making it perfect for a hike that’s a little more memorable than your typical trail.
